Coffee Will Increase Athletic Performance
A new study by Mayur Ranchordas, nutritionist at Sheffield Hallam University, showed that in footballers caffein consumption combined with carbohydrate increased their performance, endurance, and skill level. We all know the stimulating affects of caffeine, but this new research showed that the combination with carbs increased skill and speed as well. Ranchords carried out this study by simulating three different matches, for 90 minutes each, and monitored two 45 minute session as well. Skills such as dribbling, kicking, and accuracy were measured to demonstrate the substance's affects on skill level.
