Young Fish Life Threatened By Rising Acidity

Two new studies have found that rising acidity levels in seawater could have serious effects on young fish life. Previous studies dealt with grown fish, and its effects on them, which were not notable. Seawater acidity levels are rising because of CO2 in the air, which the water absorbs and acidity is raised. In the study, when acidity was risen to levels experts expect the ocean to reach between 2050 and 2100, young fish survival rates went down.
