UK authorities see no breast implant cancer link

After a scare wherein 8 women with a specific kind of breast implant, Poly Implant Prothese, or PIP, were diagnosed with cancer, many wondered if the implants were the cause.   There are 30,000 women who have the implant and could be at risk.  Fortunately, it seems the UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has said there was "insufficient evidence to indicate any association with cancer".  France's National Cancer Institute is still investigated the issue.
