Trouble Sleeping?New research published in "European Respiratory Journal" say that eating a diet of Mediterranean foods, and partaking in physical activity, can not only help you loose weight, but help with sleep apnea! At a University in Greece, they studied 40 obese patients, and fed half a specific Mediterranean diet, and half a non-Mediterranean diet. Both groups exercised for 30 minutes a day. The conclusion was that the group who ate the Mediterranean diet lost more weight had slept better, and reached deeper REM cycles.
