According to new findings published in the "Journal of Leukocyte Biology" state that eating an apple with its skin on can help with autoimmune and bowel disorders. Eating polyphenols, an antioxidant in the skins of apples, have been shown to help with disorders like bowel inflammation, Crohn's disease, ulcers, and colitis cancers.
