Soda Chemical Has Cloudy Health History

Drinkers of Mountain Dew, Gatorade and 10% of other soda in the United States are getting a dose of a synthetic chemical called brominated vegetable oil, or BVO. This specific chemical has been banned throughout Europe and Japan. People exposed to large doses of BVO have needed medical attention for skin lesions, memory loss and nerve disorders. It is suggested that BVO could be building up in human tissue. In mice, it has caused reproductive and behavioral problems.
