Rosenblum: Research on antidepressant use offers some surprises

A study found that eleven percent of Americans ages twelve and up take some form of anti-depressant. This number has skyrocketed since past years. Although a large percentage take these anti depressants, the type of prescriptions that are more currently being prescribed are lower in dosage and less side effects. This causes a problem involving the population that is severely depressed, and researchers are worried that this small population are not getting adequate treatment.
