Plant-eating dinosaur discovered in Antarctica

A group from Argentina has recently identified the remains of a herbivorous sauropod dinosaur in Antarctica, the first of its kind to be recorded there. Because of this new evidence, the scientists believe that sauropod dinosaurs achieved a global distribution by the Late Cretaceous period. They are a diverse species that had already been discovered on every other continent. And although they were one a widespread species, their origin and distribution are not completely understood.
