New Discovery in the Evolution of Walking

The African lungfish has an eel-like body and scrawny limbs. The ability of these limbs to propel the creature forward has recently redrawn the evolutionary route of life on Earth from water to land. These creatures alternate their limbs to move across surfaces, in the motion of walking. They are thought to now be the link between tetrapods and fish. They are the relative to the animals that were able to evolve and come out of the water that are now extinct.
