Nagging vs. Smoking


In this article, the writer describes how a University of Minnesota’s study has found that smokers are more likely to stay off cigarettes with the help of counselors calling them a certain amount of times, sometimes up to 5 (almost once a week), to stay connected with their patient and help them with anything they need. Since stop-smoking programs have such high failure rates, and most smokers relapse within three months after the end of treatment, this new program where counselors are constantly helping the other person get over their bad habit quicker.
