This article goes along with one of the debate we had about obesity. The article explains how it would be more effective to fight childhood obesity in schools than anywhere else. It suggests that adding lessons on healthy eating, physical activity, and body image into the school curriculum as well as improving school lunches would improve children's health. But the job isn't finished at the schools. In order for any school intervention to be effective, parents need to continue the education and the promotion of healthy living at home otherwise the schools will be wasting time and money for nothing.
