This article talks about how important sleep is for both our physical and mental health, but yet, people still don’t take sleeping as seriously as they should. In a Science Daily release, a recent study explained that teens who get fewer than 8 hours a night of sleep have higher risks of developing psychological distress caused by depressive and anxious symptoms. Teens who sleep 5 hours or less per night are three times more likely to experience some form of psychological distress within the next year.
