Research Halts on Chimps

The National Institute of Health has cancelled all grants for behavioral and bio-medical research on chimps. This was done in response to guidelines that say such experimentation has to be "necessary for human health, and that there be no other way to accomplish it." This only covers chimps owned by the U.S. government though.
