Multitasking May Not Mean Higher Productivity

The article/podcast was about how multitasking may not mean higher productivity. This was a very long interview but it was interesting. I have kind of realized how multitasking is the norm for so many people these days and it feels like by multitasking you are being efficient. The guest from Stanford however disagreed with that and said that avid multitaskers who think they are good at multitasking are actually worse at all aspects of multitasking. He said that they are "suckers for irrelevant information" and get distracted a lot. He stressed quite a bit that multitasking makes you do worse and is ineffective and harmful.
