Scientists discover new target for treatment of diabetic nephropathy


The study took the lead in the international application of broccoli, cinnamon extract the elements of the intervention of diabetic nephropathy, to obtain a significant effect. The research results, for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy to find a new target.
In mice in vivo and in vitro cell model observed, from food and medicines cinnamon broccoli sulforaphane extracted from these two substances with cinnamic aldehyde, can weaken the common symptoms of glucose metabolism, improve glucose metabolism caused by diabetes disorders and kidney damage, and thus for the clinical treatment of diabetic nephropathy to explore a new path.
