Signs of Consciousness Found In Vegetative State

   Using an EEG scientists have found signs of consciousness in patients who meet the requirements of being in a vegetative state. This new information will likely add to the controversy of continued life support. In three of twenty patients tested, electrical activity was shown in some patients who responded electrically in areas of the brain that register language understanding, and comprehension.

Very interesting and slightly scary to think that some really are still there!
