Doctor trials laser treatment to change eye colour

 A US doctor is trying to pioneer a laser treatment that changes patients' eye color. The process involves a computerized scanning system that takes a picture of the iris and works out which areas to treat. After the first treatment, the eye color turns darker before it begins to turn bluish. Since the pigment does not regenerate the treatment is irreversible.
