Chimps and Humans more related than we thought

This Blog post has information from a fairly recent discovery of a gene in our DNA that is a common gene with chimpanzees that is newer than when scientists thought we diverged.  The current theory is that humans may have re-bred with chimps and brought the genes back from the chimp population into the gene pool.  This article describes it better than I can.  Start in the second paragraph.  It's interesting.
