The article discusses how the Nash family was able to choose a certain embryo that was screened and chosen among many others for their new baby Adam Nash. They screened Adam's embryo so his bone-marrow could help save his sisters life. Because they participated in what many are calling the first designer baby screening, the Nash family has both a daughter and a son.
